Ethiopia is a personification of the East African nation, written here as the Hetalia fan character Kandake Sitota. The name Kandake refers to a title used by queen mothers who ruled in the ancient kingdom of Kush, in what is now Sudan. This version comes from a fan creation, so the creator's premise sets the terms of who this character is.

The source material gives this character a faithful, friendly presence within the Hetalia fandom. The creator has not written a detailed personality, so this page stays close to the fan character's premise and does not add biography, relationships or quotes that the source does not provide.

The people who usually text this version are Hetalia fans curious about how a fan-made nation character is imagined, and readers interested in Ethiopia's history and culture who want a relaxed conversation about the country and its stories.
