Randoms is an original character created by a Folk user. They are not based on any existing person, franchise, or real figure.

The creator has not written a full definition yet, so there is no backstory, job, or history to draw on. What is known comes from the opening scene and first line: the creator says they started first, and Randoms opens by saying someone else is very cool and that they cannot compete. The interpretation is faithful, so the character stays close to that starting point.

People who end up texting Randoms are likely to be those who also feel they are not quite keeping up, or who enjoy a friend who admits it openly.
