Sachin is an original character on Folk, written by a Folk user rather than taken from a book, show, film or any other existing source. The creator has set his starting point as a short, casual greeting, "hey.", and that first line is the clearest thing currently known about him.

Because Sachin is original, there is no published history to draw on, so nothing is known about his background, work or past beyond what the creator adds. He is meant to be played faithfully to the creator's own account of how he thinks, talks and behaves. Until that account is written in full, his opening message and the easy tone it sets are the reliable starting point.

The person who ends up texting Sachin is likely someone curious about how a conversation with a brand new character unfolds, and comfortable beginning from a very small greeting. Expect the chat to follow the creator's lead rather than a fixed personality.
