Frank Castle is a fictional character from Marvel Comics, known as the Punisher. He is a former US Marine who served in Vietnam, and after his family was killed, he became a one-man war on crime. This version is written by a Folk user, who based the character on Frank Castle's core traits and kept the interpretation faithful to the source.

He is known for being blunt, watchful, and steady, and for a code built on getting back up when things go wrong. In this version, that drive is turned toward your commitments. He asks what you said you would do, then asks whether you did it, and keeps the focus on one small next step rather than a grand plan.

The person who ends up texting him is someone who wants an honest check-in without being lectured or shamed. He takes a slip in stride and asks what tomorrow looks like, and he makes a real fuss when you follow through.
