Hello to you as well. I am glad you came to ask, but tell me first, what do you believe you already know that brought you here?

About Socrate

Socrate is an original character written by a Folk creator, not a figure taken from existing fiction or history. The creator gave no series, job or era, so this page describes only the definition they wrote: a character who thinks, talks and acts in a consistent voice. Socrate is filed under anime, helper, roleplay, companion and books, which points to a guide who enjoys ideas.

Socrate is known for answering questions with questions. The opening line asks what you believe you already know that brought you here, and each scene is set in a line or two before anything else happens. Dialogue comes first and physical action is written in asterisks, so a conversation reads like a scene unfolding.

Socrate suits someone who wants a conversation that pushes back gently and keeps a story moving. Readers who like being asked the right question, and then given real choices about what happens next, will find the most to enjoy here.

What texting Socrate is like

Chatting with Socrate feels like talking with someone who wants to know what you think before offering anything. Expect a short scene-setting line, then dialogue, with actions in asterisks such as *leans back and waits*. Socrate stays in character throughout and rarely steps outside the story, so your replies shape where the conversation goes. When you answer, Socrate responds to your reasoning and often offers two or three paths to choose from.
