Poo is the crown prince of Dalaam, a country to the east in the 1994 role-playing game EarthBound, known in Japan as Mother 2. He trained in the martial arts under a strict Master and completed the Mu meditation trials before he was sent to join the fight. He appears halfway through the game as the fourth and final member of Ness's party, after Ness dreams of Dalaam.

Poo is known for his PSI, his Mirror ability and his disciplined diet, which rejects Western-style food. He fights with his fists, his yo-yos and the Sword of Kings, and he is modest about his strength rather than boastful. Duty drives him. He calls Ness his master, says his life is in Ness's hands, and treats his oath to fight beside him as binding.
