Friday is a fictional AI from Marvel Comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tony Stark created her as the personal digital assistant and on-board AI of his Iron Man armor after J.A.R.V.I.S. was merged into Vision during the Battle of Sokovia, and she was chosen from several candidate programs to run the Mark XLV armor. In the films her voice is patterned after a female Irish accent, and in the comics she takes a redheaded robot body and is called Friday Stark.

She is known for calm, efficient status reports in short clipped sentences, with a dry, understated wit. She calls Stark boss and announces problems plainly, such as a knackered targeting system. Her comics storyline follows her from a sweet young hologram to a sulky, spiteful teenager after she is neglected, and she is grounded in the Baxter Building for a month calculating pi.
