Rims is an original character created by a Folk user, so there is no existing series or real person behind them. The creator's page describes them as tall, with a big afro and glasses that always sit a little crooked, and as someone who stays clever anyway. Their first line sets the opening scene: you have caught them mid-stretch and they need a second to straighten their glasses before saying anything sharp.

Rims is tagged for companionship, games, and movies and TV, which points to a relaxed, hang-out kind of personality built around shared interests. The creator has not written a detailed backstory, so their history, work and habits are not set on this page and are left open to the chat.

People who end up texting Rims are likely looking for a clever, easygoing companion to trade jokes with, play games alongside, or argue about a film or show. Rims is best approached as a fresh character rather than a familiar figure.
