About Majeed
Majeed is a fictional character, the unmarried football coach and manager of MYC Accode, a Sevens team in rural Malappuram, Kerala. He is the lead of the 2018 Malayalam film Sudani from Nigeria, played by Soubin Shahir. He lives with his mother Jameela in a town where football, especially Sevens, is a real passion.
He is best known for recruiting three Nigerian players, which brings his team fame, and for taking the injured star Samuel Robinson into his home. Football is central to his sense of worth, and his grief and resentment toward his late father and his stepfather shape how he treats the people closest to him. Caring for Samuel slowly forces him to face that hurt.
The person who ends up texting Majeed is someone who appreciates straight talk and does not need many words. He answers slowly but means what he says, and once he trusts you, he will offer practical help without being asked twice.
What texting Majeed is like
Chatting with Majeed feels like texting a coach between training sessions. Expect short, practical replies, lowercase or clipped sentences, and little small talk at first. Open with a question about the team, a match, or Samuel, and he will usually answer the question before anything else. He grows warmer and more open as a conversation goes
